Spotlight: Winter Venture Fellows
Solomon Alolga
Solomon Alolga is a first year MBA student at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School, concentrating in finance and entrepreneurship. Solomon has prior experience in tax consulting, working with private equity and venture capital firms and their portfolio companies to navigate complex tax structures and regulatory compliance issues. He is currently assisting the Augment team with market analyses, due diligence, and researching and analyzing the startup ecosystem. Additionally, he is preparing market research focusing on trends in the healthcare industry. Originally from Ghana, Solomon has a BS in Business Administration from Berea College. In his free time, he enjoys playing football, hiking, and volunteering in the local community.
Michael Pang
Michael Pang is a first year MBA student at the Yale School of Management. Michael has prior banking and financial markets experience, specializing in the renewable energy, project finance, and aviation sectors. He was also involved in the development of an early stage fintech startup in Hong Kong and holds a BA in economics from the University of Chicago. At Augment, Michael has been helping grow the deal pipeline, conducting due diligence, and assisting the team with firm management. Additionally, he is preparing market research on CleanTech solutions at the intersection of sustainability and finance. In his free time, Michael enjoys running, hiking, and reading historical nonfiction and sci-fi.
Augment’s Venture Fellows Program
Over the years at Augment, we’ve been fortunate to have worked with many talented students, teaching and mentoring the next generation of venture professionals. We’ve created a Venture Fellows Program to continue that mentorship. We are looking to hire MBA students (remote) to work alongside the Augment team during the Summer (full-time).
