Did you know? A recent study found that the “average athlete’s water bottle contains 313,499 CFU (colony-forming units) of bacteria per square centimeter” (Treadmill Reviews, 2019). Germs from dirty hands and backwash are typically the culprits behind unwanted bacteria in your reusable water bottles. Our portfolio company, LARQ, created a self-cleaning water bottle designed to eradicate 99.999% of all bacteria back in 2018.
Just recently, LARQ announced their latest release, the Terra Collection, inspired by earthly hues found in nature.
