Alexandra Ford English serves on the board of Ford Motor Company and sits on the finance committee and the sustainability, innovation, and policy committee. She previously worked at Ford in various leadership roles in their corporate strategy and global brand merchandising divisions. There she directed initiatives in enterprise connectivity, digital networks, and was instrumental in deploying Ford’s autonomous vehicle business in key cities. Alexandra’s other previous endeavors include serving on Rivian Automotive’s board and managing operations at Tory Burch and Gap Inc. She holds a degree from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard.
Alexandra’s involvement extends beyond her professional achievements to significant community engagement. She actively participates with the Children’s Center in Detroit and Impact100, focusing on leveraging women’s roles in driving transformative community changes. As a United Way emerging philanthropist, English is deeply committed to the development and prosperity of Southeast Michigan.
